The error I get while trying to open the file is "the document uses an unknown text class". could someone run me through the steps again which i have to do so that i havent missed on anything. Also do i need any .sty file for this. I have three files in all puthesis.cls,puthesis.layout,puthesis.lyx. how do i know whether the class file is installed or not. karthik
