I live in a rural area and have a great deal of difficulty connecting to my ISP
with my internal modem in my eMac. When I do connect (after 8-10 attempts) the
best speed is 26400. My laptop PC connects every time at 28800.
Has anyone experienced this problem? I am considering buying an external USB
modem to see if it works better? Any suggestions? Comments are appreciated.
