So here's the funny story about that. This iPad is listed at $430. When I got home yesterday and started setting up the iPad, I realized that the BestBuy guy had given me the 32GB model instead of the 128. As you might imagine, I was kind of irritated, as I was looking forward to spending a snowy afternoon playing with my new toy. So, today we went back to BestBuy, and I exchanged it for the 128GB. Well, as it happened, today the 128GB model was discounted by $100, so I got it for the same price that I paid for the 32GB yesterday. Suddenly, I felt much more forgiving of the salesperson I worked with yesterday. lol I paid just over $300.
I, too, have seen reference to a 128 and a 2018. My understanding is that Apple released an updated version of the 128GB model a couple of months ago, so I believe the one I have is slightly updated.
