I agree with you E.T., However, Apple was going to make a sale, one way or the other.
In one scenario, they give a customer what he wants and thereby almost certainly assures future sales. In the other scenario, they offend the customer, making him distrust the validity of the integrity of both the company and the sales rep. Which scenario makes more sense?
