Hi,

We'll just break down their doors and demand they cater to our needs. Sounds
like organizations you know?

I don't really mind the space, I guess. Just the fact that, if I never use
them, it's a silly idea to pay more if I only use two of them. I guess I can
understand their point. I will paste the reply I got off Assistiveware. He's
very good at responding.

There are two reasons.

1) Acapela Group, who makes the voices, does not want to sell per voice. If you
want to know why, contact them directly here
http://www.acapela-group.com/text-speech-contact.html

2) The transactions costs of a 20 euro and 100 euro transaction are quite
similar. Many of our resellers would therefore refuse to sell for 20 euros as
their costs (support, invoicing, handling purchase orders) could easily be
close to the sale price of the product. Many of our customers need to purchase
with such resellers because they want insurance or government to pay for the
voices as they use them because they are blind, cannot speak, have dyslexia,
etc.

I'll try writing Acapela to ask.

Regards,
Nic
