problem solved, thanks to you's guys.
Give yourselves a five fingered triple tap on the back.
Here's why I didn't think that was the issue.
I remembered when I learned and tried out that touchpad mute function and
clearly remember VO saying Voice over muted.
This time he was just saying speech off, so that through me.
Also, I had my wife check and mute was unchecked.
Also, my wife said she turned Vo off and that's it, how would the three
fingured double tap have been activated?
