Charles, assertions that Marcuse was "anti-Communist" are presented without 
evidence. That he was "anti-Stalinist" is without question. You have thrown 
around the term "communist" without much definition and it is used, it seems, 
more as a polemical hit term than anything...anything serious. That Marcuse was 
opposed to the politics of the French Communist Party and by extension, 
bureaucratic rule in the USSR, doesn't at all make him anti-communist. I have 
an open mind on this and I've never, ever, followed Marcuse outside of some 
interesting essays he wrote. Please expound his anti-communism.
