The US and Israel are out of interceptor missiles, have used most of their Tomahawk missiles, and it takes years to produce them. The US has been defeated because it has used ten years' production worth of missiles and aircraft in two months, and has had to pull some from South Korea to fill the gap.
There is no longer the industrial base that built 50 ships a week in World War Two.
