You are completelly right. The .M750008 service is used for testing backup purposes. You should not start it.
I don't know what is the omstsknl.exe file is (I never faced it before). All my databases has the following command in properties of service (control panel, administrative tools, services, right click service, properties): D:\PGM\SAPDB\DEPEND\pgm\kernel.exe Have you checked this properties to know if is that there?
