Should be ok from the way you say your ISP is set up but in binary
groups especially (I know they don't apply to you), they can, and do,
expire in less than 24hours.

So do you have to tell them what groups you are subscribed to or does
it just wait for a request from that group from your newsreader and
add it to it's newsgroup list?
