Does anyone know if or when the Sony MDS-JE530 MiniDisc deck will be
vailable in Australia?
Also, are there any plans for Sony to implement a fully-bitmapped display of
the kind implemented in the MDS-W1 in future MiniDisc decks or other home
hi-fi equipment. When I saw the MDS-W1 on the shelf at Denman Audio in
Melbourne, I was amazed at the display used in this deck and the possibility
to use an interface similar to a well-designed computer application for
doing sophisticated disc operations.
