If the 80-minute disc is an MD-80 disc, no.
If the 80-minute disc is an MD-74 with a hacked TOC to give it 80 minutes
of recording time, yes.

Table of Contents and User Table of Contents.  I do not believe there is a
difference, but do not quote me on that.
