Agreed. While a lot of us (including me) dump MP3's to MD (admittedly, after
some serious EQ'ing thanks to MP3's inherent deficiencies <grin>), I don't
think there needs to be a great emphasis on it in order for MD to survive.
That's just being a bit too overzealous.

Why?  I mean, MP3 audio is inferior to MD as far as quality is concerned,
even at the highest coding rates.  Going from CD to MP3 to MD is just plain
stupid if you ask me.

Now, a faster means of dumping CD-DA tracks to MD would certainly be
desirable.
