True, but the advantage of using USB is that most PC's have it built in as
standard, whereas to use SCSI or FireWire systems would mean I need to add 2
cards (1 encoder / MD Card and one FireWire or SCSI interface) which would
boost the price up. IF we get to a point where FireWire is a standard
interface built into most PCs then at that point it would be the better
choice.
