Dan,
    if you watch you can catch this unit for ~$99 (us) from time to time.
That's when i bought mine.  I've had 0 trouble with it so far.  Also it has
some nice features like optical and coax digital inputs on it.  I use it for
a desktop set of speakers connected to my computer at my office.  it sounds
fine for what i use it for, plus it had the cd/md/ps/s kb/tuner in it.  for
the cost and everything that it comes with i couldn't turn it down.  I
really like it the only thing i've not figured out on it(probably because i
refuse to read the manual) is that i dont know how to do a sync record if i
wanna copy something from my computer to it via a digital link.  Well i hope
this helped out some.
