Howdy all, well anyway i was one of many who got the sharp md-x5 for $99 =
and all i have to say now is if this deal comes up again definately try =
and get one. I originally got this unit thinking great i'll have =
something else to put somewhere around the house with a md player, but =
found it to be a lot more than just that. after placing it several =
different places throughout the house, it finally ended up on my =
computer desk(blessing in disguise) granted this unit doesn't have the =
sound quality of a multi thousand dollar stero, but it does sound very =
very descent for it's size and price. anyway back to the story, after =
having it on the desk for a couple days listening to the radio i decided =
to go get a toslink cable and plug it in. records and sounds great. =
IMO it sounds better than any $99 pair of computer speakers i've heard =
yet, plus you dont get that ugly analog noise from your sound card, plus =
you get a md player/recorder, a cd player, and a tuner. For these =
options alone it is well worth that $99 price tag that it was. that =
ps/2 plug in for a keyboard to title md's is just an added bonus, so i =
say if this ever comes up again, grab one for your computer desk.
