While on this topic - what would be the feasability of simply bolting a z18et head onto a z20e block. My question relates to the resulting compression ratios and turbo friendlyness of such a combo????? Would the use of say VL turbo pistons and 240K rods within the z20e block together witha z18et head be a better option?? Im getting all excited!! Steve. You have to do some machining on the manifolds as the port spacing is a little different on the Z24. But this is not a major problem. To fit the VG30 turbo/Z18ET onto the Z20 you have to elongate the manifold holes so the studs can fit as they are a few mm different spacings. Bet it would kick!
