Steve,   The NAPS/Z cylinder heads are all identical, they got different compression ratios in the different Z motors by changing the dish size and compression height of the pistons.  You can use your Z18ET inlet & exhaust manifolds with the Z20E head - in fact thats exactly what I'm doing!  If you don't have the Z20E internals, use a set of L20b internals.  The NAPS/Z cylinder head has the same chamber size as the stock L20b head (U67) which is 45.2cc so you will still get 8.5:1 which is standard for a L20b.  Remember that you need the Z20E timing cover as well as the block because an L20b timing cover won't fit.   - Tom   ----- Original Message ----- From: steve taylor To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, April 21, 2001 6:47 AM Subject: Re: 2.4L stroked engines While on this topic - what would be the feasability of simply bolting a z18et head onto a z20e block. You have to do some machining on the manifolds as the port spacing is a little different on the Z24. But this is not a major problem. To fit the VG30 turbo/Z18ET onto the Z20 you have to elongate the manifold holes so the studs can fit as they are a few mm different spacings. Bet it would kick!
