Chris,

The Cortina 32/36 is a DGAV carbie comes with a water driven choke which is
a bit of a pain to connect up but not impossible. These carbies require an
adapter plate on the L20B manifold. The Cortina air filter can be cut up a
bit to fit under the bonnet or you can buy a 9" filter from Autobarn. The
Cortina filter is fairly thin so no clearance problems on a 1600 but the
intake is at a difficult angle. You can get a manual choke upgrade for them
but to adapt this carbie the cost goes up a bit - so unless you can track
down a complete setup for a L20B you might be better off just getting a good
S2 Bluebird carbie from the wreckers - ~$50 or so drive away.

regards,
Terry
