All 510's here have the death spear.Even the imported 72SSS's
The only one that hasn't is a 1800sss 1971 coupe. Malcolm Richard Clough wrote: No, early 1600's (68/9 were imported from Japan and have non collapsing steering shaft that is integral with the steering box - Spear, Terry calls them - because they can spear you in a severe front end prang. Not desirable. You can (should) upgrade to the safer Aussi design if you find a suitable collapsible steering column (180B may fit?)and fit the 120Y box. --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- |
