5 deg is about 15mm, I ended up with less than that after the transplant, so that's alright. 30 deg is about 90mm that would be horrible to drive.

5 degrees is the legal limit, my wheel has about 30 deg slop but that is
pretty common in the dattos. My wheel is pretty small too so could be about
40 deg slop with a stocky wheel.
