Dome top SU's are the earlier Hitachi copy of an SU.  Latter ones, with anti
pollution gear were "squarer" tops.  The ones you have are good carbs for
road use.  Check how to tune and balance them and they will give u a good
run if the butterfly shafts are sealing properly in the carb body.
The best part of an L18 SSS engine is the original head.  Look for 219 cast
into the front of it, or check the port and valve sizes.  Compression is
slightly higher at 9.5:1 by using flat top pistons and standard power was
115 HP.  Static advance setting is 14 edges btdc.
