Those HP figures sound dodgy to me Malcom. Where do they come from? The BDA that Greg Car ran in the ford escort IYK 000 (SNOOPY) from 1977-1979 had 240 Bhp @ 9000 I believe. That was typical of the works BDA's. Bruce Hodson's ford sponsored Escort a genuine RS1800 with the ZF gear train etc had 230hp. The Bruce Hodson car now resides in Kambah about 1 block from where I used to live :-)
