Hi Chris,

I have been told by Performance that their 16x7 superlite bolts onto a
1600 with a 12mm offset too. But with some calcs I don't think this can
be the case due to guard clearance:

7in wide with 12mm offset results in a 114mm backspace, or a 90mm
distance from the mounting face to outer edge of rim (closest to
guard).

My 15x6s have a 20mm offset, 109mm backspace, and 69mm
distance from the mounting face to outer edge of rim, and they are just
fitting with 240K front struts.

Therefore 7in rims with 12mm offset would stick some 20mm further
out! The performance superlites in a 15x6 have a 24mm offset and so
would fit without mods; the 15x7s not without flares :)
