That fuel savings idea only works if *everyone* has all 4 tires underinflated. R&T tested the cars in the parking lot a few years ago - and their lot *should* contain people who are more interested in cars and maintanence that others or so they thought) and found 20% of the cars had at least 1 improperly inflated tire.
