actually, they only came to the US for 2 years ('85-'86); they continued
to make them for several more years after that with the same M21 motor,
but in the E34 body style for other markets.

    the local dealer here in Berkeley services the US years happily; i
know of a few locals that have them that run them on BioDiesel or WVO
and have had very good luck with them.
