300SD Air Cleaner "Fix". Does this require bracing welded to the factory bracket, or a rubber donut mounted to the side of the air cleaner in gap between air cleaner and valve cover?
Umm, "yes"? I've done both. A bit of welding to fix the break, and then a broken-off rubber air cleaner mount (and hey, who doesn't have at least one of those?) screwed into the side of the can to bump-stop against the valve cover.
