Including transmission, clutch, pedals, the works? Or do you mean $2K
for everything but the used transmission, giving you a choice of the
latter? Or $2K for the custom stuff (trans adapter plate plus ???)
and you source not just your own used tranny but also pedals, clutch,
linkages, shift boot, and various and sundry small parts as needed
from a factory stick car?

I'm thinking the pricing model here should be like that of VW engine
conversions, or those sold to put a Chevy small-block in a
Jaguar---usually a turnkey package includes everything but the engine
(giving you, with the Jag for example, a choice whether to find a used
engine, buy a hot-rodded crate motor from GM, or whatever). I know I
would pay extra not to have to track down all the right pieces from a
donor car. Max's $2K sounds right to me for everything but the
transmission, and all new parts where possible.
