I'd be all over that if I were in the mood for such a project. $1K seems like a good deal if the body is straight and the wood and leather are decent. I think I see a door panel mangled to install a speaker in the fourth picture, though, so I'd be careful of messed-up wiring and missing trim bits (why is it so hard for amateur stereo installers to put everything back the way they found it?).
