I've dusted off theturntable, etc. since we moved recently. I also want to
RIP a bunch of shelac and some vinyl.
I have a Sony TA-1150 amp that I bought used in the '80s. The switched and
linear pots were noisy until I moved it 50 miles in the back of the van -
now it works great!
The turntable is an old Dual 1209 that needs the on/off switch that
activates when the arm lifts either cleaned or hot-wired. I have the 78rpm
needle for it - don't remember the cartridge now, an a "TC778" equalizer to
feed the Sony when playing the 78s.

We have around 8 shelf feet of 78s that have been in the family since the
1920s, need to get on the project someday!
