Essentially true but there are others, like East Penn.  However, these few
manufacturers make a wide range of battery types based on specifications
from the customer (brand-name retailer).  Also, a given brand line (like
Diehard) may be made by one manufacturer one year and a different one the
next.  Also, different battery sizes of the same brand may be made by
different manufacturers.

It's getting to be as confusing as mattresses.

I've always had good luck with Interstate batteries.
