I think #1 or #2 are the most likely. Is it possible that you've confused which way is up? I put a thermostat in my 240D backwards once. Caused me no end of frustration until I finally paid my Indy to figure it out. I'll never make that mistake again.
Can you install it upside down, is it even possible? -Curt Date: Sun, 15 Apr 2012 12:21:55 -0400 From: Mitch Haley <m...@voyager.net> To: Mercedes Discussion List <mercedes@okiebenz.com> Subject: Re: [MBZ] Fuel Pump Not Delivering Message-ID: <4f8af5a3.6080...@voyager.net> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed Allan Streib wrote: > I agree. Original pump weak, new pump improperly installed. 2. Original pump was temporarily stuck, new pump improperly installed. 3. Both pumps fine, cam not turning under load. Since #3 requires pulling the pulley and timing cover, let's spend some time on #1 and #2 first. _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
