I prebought for $2.099 plus sales tax last summer. When they gave me my fall top-up this week, the spot price was $2.099. So I in effect loaned them the money for this week's fill since July. Haven't seen $1.60 in Michigan for quite some time. Maybe it's cheaper near the Okie terminal where futures contracts are settled?
