It helps to make .380's and .38's viable CCW defensive weapons.
Some friends had a sweet .380, the large Colt I think, and it was very pleasant to shoot. I wanted one. Another friend was looking for home defense and was drawn to the small cuteness of a .380, so we went to the range and rented every one they had. They all were _horrible_ in terms of pain to shoot, they were all optimized for CC, unlike that bigger Colt. She ended up going bigger, once she realized that all that static mass she didn't like had a pretty good functional purpose. It made practicing fun, and your second shot nearly as good as your first. For home defense my grandpa used to say that even better than the first shot was the "chack-chack" from the bedroom as you pumped in the first shell. Few miscreants will stick around after hearing that, and you don't have to clean up any blood. -- Jim _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
