I have a roll of this really sticky gasket stuff that is about an inch
wide, maybe 1/8" thick, that is used for sealing flanges on metal
roofs. Not sure of the profile of the assembly (flat if it is on the
roof?) but that stuff would seal well. If not, go with the goop and see
if it works or not.

connects the sunroof frame to the vehicle. He went to a local Mercedes Benz
dealer to purchase a seal and was told that the seal is a part of the entire

The entire sunroof frame has to be replaced at a parts only cost of $1,800.
The independent shop suggested that he can remove the frame, clean off the area

The problem passenger side ran 6 seconds faster!! This just about
rules out any issue with the drain itself...
How do you figure? You're saying that a drain that is known
to leak some water where it doesn't belong runs faster than
one that is running properly. Yeah, no surprise there.
I will say it again. The drain hose is either split, probably
where it hooks onto the drain channel nipple, or it's pushed off
a little bit. Or there is a rusty spot in the tray. Some of the
water is not going where it's supposed to.
Take it apart, and _fix_ it!
