In fact, there wasn't even any grumbling from anyone about it. And Columbia is a majority Democratic city. I think for the most part, the Democrats are tired of losing elections due to the gun issue. Atlanta may be different because you have a majority Black population, and gun violence is much more of an issue in the Black community.
