Actually, I stand corrected.  I just pulled out some
of my old NEC manuals, and since a generator is
considered a power source in it's own right, it has to
be grounded separately. (head slap - I knew this, it's
been 10 years since I've done it)

In systems up to 400A 3 phase the neutrals can be
combined.  Above that you may separate the neutrals if
they are isolated between the two systems (power
sources.)
