Nope, but XP is actually better. It took me a long time to admit to it too...
Better USB and Firewire support (native support for Firewire 800), HDV support,
some memory leaks fixed from Win2k, better stability, better plug and play
support.
XP really is superior. Still thats like saying Genital Warts are better than
Syphalis.

Do they still release updates for Windows 2000?
That was really the pinnacle of Windows, as far as I am concerned.
Basically stable, and not too bloated.
