You aren't making the Amiga the default gateway for NT, are you? That's
obviously wrong in this configuration.
Note that you not only need routing enabled in the NT machine, but you
also need IP-NAT or SOCKS, unless you actually have a registered IP for
the Amiga with proper routing set up both at your ISP and on the NT box.

What happens if you connect to it with a comm program?

Miami has no option for PPP data compression, nor for encryption.
