I just bought a new HP for my local network which I am using my A2000 as the
gateway/firewall for running MiamiDX. I have been monitoring network traffic
using
the tcpipdump program provide by Miami and I have noticed that there are
packets being
exchanged between my new HP and someplace called web-associates. My guess
its one of the preinstalled pieces of software on the machine doing some
form of use statistics, update
tracking for one of the programs, I have never enable such on my home
machines. I want
to deny that access. it is outgoing on port 1024 it appears, can I deny that
to one specific machine using Miami's firewall. Please help.

Thanks

   Greg
