Whatever's on the web site... ;-) Which happens to be 1.0c, and is the
same as what I'm using, without any problems like that.
I'm running it on a 68030 CPU, by the way. Just in case that might be
significant. What's your system details? MiamiDx needs at least an 68020
CPU.

Someone else mentioned that trying to run Miami and MiamiDx at the same
time wouldn't work. That's logical. But I've just tried that, and you
get a requester telling you that there's already a TCP/IP stack running,
and MiamiDx quits neatly. So it couldn't be due to that (like if you'd
set up a script to always run Miami at boot time, and forgot to disable
it).
Perhaps you may need to check that your MUI installation is up to date?
That can be the cause of all manner of problems, many of which don't
really make a lot of sense. Perhaps, if you start the program with the
NOGUI tooltype, it might run without loading any MUI files, letting you
know if the problem is in that direction.
How much RAM do you have? Is there plenty available?
Has your hard drive been working fine? If you've got something like the
MaxTransfer value set too high, then largish files can get corrupted.
Have you checked that your tool for unpacking LhA archives is working
fine?
Temporarily remove any MiamiDx.default file that you might have in the
Miami: directory, in case some setting is so out of whack it's causing a
failure.
But it's more likely that your problem is some non-MiamiDx thing, as I've
not heard of anything that you could do with MiamiDx that would kill it.

That's all you need, until you want to use SSL. Then you either download
the SSL files that Miami uses, or whatever your web browser uses. Some
browsers can use their own SSL or external SSL libraries. But for now, I
wouldn't worry about that.
