Hmm, I'd be looking at the MUI system itself, now.

You'd reckon that'd be enough.  I don't know whether there's any 68040 or
PPC issues, here, though.

I'd still be checking into things like these:

Do you mean you've just run it once, quit, then it won't run again?

Or you've run it, made some changes to the configuration, then quit, and
tried to run it again?

Have you rebooted since installing?

Do you have another partition you can do a very simple installation of the
Amiga OS, MUI and MiamiDx to?  Where you can try this all out, without
anything else being able to interact with things.
