Re: [Miami] Re: Can you help me troubleshoot this?
Hi Steve,
SF>>>>> If I launch Miami after a cold boot of my Amiga (towered A1200,

SF>>>>> things happens:
SF>>>>>
SF>>>>> 1) Miami searches for IP addresses for several seconds, then
SF>>>>> hangs.
SF>>>>>
SF>>>>> 2) Miami (or Miami Downtown) gurus immediately.
SF>>>>>
SF>>>>> 3) Miami appears to go online fine, but the next program I launch
SF>>>>> (e.g., YAM or Voyager or AWeb) crashes Miami!
SF>>>>>
SF>>>>> My workaround, after many days of hair pulling: for some bizarre
SF>>>>> reason, if I launch YAM first after a cold boot, and then launch
SF>>>>> Miami and go online, everything is fine. Miami is rock solid and
SF>>>>> performs flawlessly. I can even repeatedly go online and offline
SF>>>>> with no trouble!
MS>>> I have a potential solution, It sounds like there is a Version

If programs are installed properly, then it shouldn't happen.

It's probably easiest to just look in the YAM and Miami directories for
MUI files. Then put them where they're supposed to be: MUI:Libs/MUI
YAM shouldn't have any MUI files within the YAM directories.
The only MUI files within in Miami aren't MUI MCCs, but the MiamiGUIs:
Miami:Libs/MUI.MiamiDxGui (for MiamiDx)
Miami:Libs/MUI.MIamiGui (for the MUI GUI for Miami)
Miami:Libs/MUI.MiamiToolsGui (for the MUI GUI for Miami)
Miami:Libs/MUIMWB.MiamiGui (for the Magic Workbench looking MUI GUI for
Miami).
