You are right things like that shouldn't happen, but Programs start looking
for librarys in there initial location. Then they follow the path laid out
by the program.
One thing you should do is run SNOOPDOS , and Try both scenarios (A
non-Yam first, and A Yam First ). That should tell you the version
differences and locations.

That shouldn't happen, unless someone's put MUI files in the programs
directory (YAM or Miami, for example), that should have been placed in one
of the MUI: directories.
There's a newer version of YAM available now. It might be worth trying
that out.

A rather drastic solution, and one where a person is likely to end up
removing something essential, without noticing it, and end up having to
fix several new problems.
