depends on the damage.  G60 ECU's aren't the easiest
thing in the world to find, so make sure you can get
your hands on one before buying the car.

The supercharger should turn over easily by hand and
not make any grating noises.  It shouldn't be leaking
oil between the halves either.  Closely inspect the
crank pulley, these engines break the crank
keyway/crank nose all the time.

If the damage didn't include the nose of the car, ie
the hood, fenders, headlites etc are intact, $800 is a
steal.  Each part on the nose of a corrado is at least
$600 new.  You could pull the engine etc out of it and
easily recoup your investment by parting out the rest
of the car.
