My district adopted Houghton Mifflin this school year. The basal stories are good, the problem I have with the series is that our district has decided that we aren't supposed to use anything other than the publishers components. I teach third grade and there are leveled readers, however, even the lowest level ones are too difficult for many of my students to read independently. <BR><BR><BR>**************************************<BR> AOL now offers free email to everyone.
