Brian:

  I would completely disagree with the analysis, unless the person had 1-2 years of 
experience.  If someone has 5-8 or 10-12+ years experience in the industry plus the 
vendor specific skills those rates should and have been much higher.  You have to 
remember that the companies who present these rates are either low balling other 
companies and still taking a good cut, or just ripping off the person.  Now, not all 
companies do this, but the few that do put a very bad taste in peoples mouth.

$25-30 is reasonable for an MQ Admin

Current market rates are

$30 MQ Admin
$35 MQ Developer
$40 WMQI/MQWF
$45-50 MQ and WMQI and MQWF and WAS Project Leader/Architect

There are companies that will pay more but if a contract gets out to the
agencies then the rates drop especially when you are not dealing with the
prime agent
