Hi. My current work on assigning channels would have minimal influence on
MIDI output. Exported midi file already have information about midi
channels, but MuseScore assigns them automatically. I just let user to
select them explicitly.
Currently we use MIDI 1 format and it is convenient enough for implementing
what I want, so there is no need to change format.
