That is also why I think banning certain persons (in particular, I am talking about GuyveR800 from TNI here) is a Very Bad Idea. In the end, GuyveR800 was banned because of a (strong) disagreement with the msx.org staff, and as an end result can thus not participate in that part of the MSX community anymore. It still strikes me that whenever an old discussion turns up again, I see many valueable and contributing posts by GuyveR800, and the fact that msx.org has silenced that voice feels very sour to me each time. To me, such activities reduce the value of msx.org and make me all the more happy that alternate channels such as the MSX Mailinglist and IRC still exist.

I actually think that no GuyveR800 is a good thing. The guy is picking all fights he can, like he has nothing better to do. Yes, he has knowledge, but he's so antisocial, that his knowledge comes out once in a while within tonns of garbage.

Besides, GuyveR800 quit MSX.org "volutarely" a while ago only to start posting under a couple of new nicks (one of them "TheSpecialist") in the same arrogant and offencive manner.

As of msx.org, it's not as valuable as some try to portray. Look at forums. There is almost nothing happening. Just some aging dutchmen periodically rehashing "good ol' days". The only value of msx.org is as an agregator of news from this very list, generation-msx, msxposse and several other sources.
