I think I might try and deliver some messages 'direct' using postfix, I can set up a dummy user here with no filter/procmail and take a look at what arrives in their inbox. If postfix *does* append a blank line to all messages I can then, maybe, go to the python library developers and say I think what they're doing is wrong. -- Chris Green
